Time: 8:00pm Band History Sydney Thistle was formed in 1918 by a group of returned servicemen. It has the unique distintion of having participated in the Victory March of 1918 and every Anzac Day March since. The band plays a wide range of music from traditional popular tunes to modern innovative styles. It has successfully competed against other bands, holding both State and National titles.
